Description: Six months after getting the new Intersec downloaded into his head Chuck finds himself unemployed by the Buy More and the US government after failing spy training. Sarah has left town after Chuck breaks her heart. Awesome and Ellie move into an apartment across the courtyard from Chuck. Chuck works his way back into working for the US government with Sarah and Casey.

Chuck: Sarah, did Casey tell you? They're moving me to a training facility. I'm gonna be a real spy!
Sarah: I know, I heard, come on.
Chuck: What's the matter?
Sarah: If you do this, if you go, you're going to be a spy for the rest of your life. Every city is going to be a new mission and a new identity and you're not going to be the same person.

Episode Trivia
Chuck putting on his slippers and wearing his bathrobe, in addition to the music laying in those scenes, is in reference to the Coen Brothers comedy The Big Lebowski.
Mark Christopher Lawrence does not appear in this episode.
Julia Ling is no longer featured in the opening credits sequence.
The final scene between Chuck and Casey is reminiscent of the end of Rocky III.
